Do I need to pay a deposit with my golf school reservation?
No advance deposit is required to make your reservation. Our reservation deadline is 10 days prior to the first day of instruction. Payment in full is due and payable on the first day of instruction. If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, we appreciate as much advance notice as possible to enable us to help another golfer in your place!
Do you accept major credit cards?
Yes, we accept MasterCard/Visa, Discover, and American Express.
Do you use video or motion analysis technology in your golf schools?
We use the V1 Swing Analysis video system in our full swing academies. We believe that the use of video, motion measurement technology, etc. in golf instruction is helpful, but video analysis and tour-player comparisons should not be a primary focus of instruction. We are careful to not place undue emphasis on swing video as this often makes the player focus too much attention on "positions" in the golf swing, rather than on improving impact conditions and shotmaking. The sole purpose of a golf swing is to produce correct, repetitive impact conditions and the swing mechanics themselves are rather insignificant as long as they are repetitive. We will take your current swing and help you learn how to make the proper adjustments to improve your ball-striking effectiveness, rather than asking you to re-learn to swing according to any particular "tour player" model. You and your golf swing are unique!
How will you help me improve?
Golf is a "Reaction Game"...we all react and try to adapt instinctively to the past behavior of our golf ball. Most of these "instinctive" reactions tend to make us play worse rather than better over time. You will learn how to recognize and respond more correctly to your golf ball's behavior, learning responses which will improve your shotmaking instead of ruining your game. When you attend The Golf School at Mariana Butte you will receive a student manual describing the specific techniques needed to execute a variety of shots, as well as space to record your personal notes and individual swing corrections.
Will everyone at the golf school be at my level of ability?
Because all instruction is individualized, you will find players of all ability levels at our golf schools. Remember that the basic principles of golf geometry and physics are the same for all golfers, and we will work with each student individually within our golf school format!

When are golf academies and schools offered during the 2010 season?
Our golf schools and academies at Mariana Butte will begin the season on May 7, 2010. We anticipate a very busy 2010 golf school season, so please consider reserving your school dates as soon as possible!
